Four steps to your first tap
Enable Tap to Pay
From your ZionPe dashboard, pick your country and business name. Setup is automatic.
Open the ZionPe app
Sign in on your iPhone or Android and go to Tap to Pay.
Enter the amount
Type the amount and an optional note. Ask the customer to tap their card or phone.
Done
The payment is approved on the spot, the receipt is sent, and the money is in your balance.
Tap to Pay needs an approved ZionPe Payments account registered in the United Kingdom, United States or Canada, a Payments Pro plan, and the ZionPe mobile app on a compatible iPhone or Android phone.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a card reader?
No. Tap to Pay uses the NFC chip already in your iPhone or Android phone. The customer taps their contactless card, phone or watch on your device and the payment is done.
Where is Tap to Pay available?
Merchants in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada with an approved ZionPe Payments account.
What does it cost?
Tap to Pay is included in Payments Pro (£19 a month). In-person payments carry your normal Pro transaction fee; there is no extra hardware to buy.
How do I start?
Enable Tap to Pay from your ZionPe dashboard, then take payments from the ZionPe mobile app: enter the amount, the customer taps, and a receipt is sent automatically.
Where does the money go?
Into the same ZionPe Payments balance as your online payments, with every in-person payment on the same transaction list, refundable from the dashboard.
